Claim Health Monitor · part of the Defend step

Nothing rots in someone's inbox.

Track delays, unresolved supplements, missing carrier responses, and stalled activity across every claim. Read-only view over everything VVON™ already records.

What Claim Health watches for.

On any property claim, the difference between paid in 30 days and paid in nine months is usually a series of small stalls — an unanswered supplement, a missing IA report, a denial that landed in the spam folder. Claim Health Monitor surfaces every stall the moment it crosses a threshold, ranked by financial impact and recoverability.

Days since last activity
Any claim with no movement in 7+ business days surfaces with a yellow badge; 30+ days surfaces red. The threshold is configurable per tier.
Unresolved supplements
Supplements submitted to the carrier with no carrier-side response inside the policy-mandated response window. Most state DOIs have specific timing requirements; VVON tracks them.
Missing carrier documents
IA inspector reports, engineer reports, accountant reports the carrier ordered but never shared with the policyholder. You are entitled to these — VVON flags when they should exist but do not.
Mitigation diligence gaps
Photo evidence that ends mid-loss. Moisture readings missing for days the dryers should have been running. Standards documentation gaps that would let the carrier argue failure-to-mitigate.
Sublimit traps
When a settlement offer pushes against a sublimit (mold $5K, ordinance-or-law 10%, scheduled-property cap), Claim Health surfaces it before the homeowner signs.
Appraisal & DOI clocks
When invoking an appraisal clause or a state DOI complaint becomes the right next step, Claim Health surfaces the available windows and the deadline math.
